This 1950’s ranch home was purchased in 2004 by our clients from a “home flipper” and there were some issues. For one, the home was reframed without treated wood baseplates, so essentially all the studs were secured directly to the slab causing the walls to rot on the structure. We were recommended to these clients to make this repair and to completely renovate this home down to the studs while also adding an addition and changing the floor plan to a more modern, open design. We completed this initial work in 2005 and turned this home into a spacious, open-concept, Hill Country style ranch home that our clients enjoyed raising their family in. In 2018, we were invited back to give the home a quick “facelift” to freshen the paint to give the home a fresher and brighter interior feel.
