For this typical original home of about 1,200 square feet in 1950s Timbergrove Manor, we reconfigured the interior floor plan and removed walls to make the public area more open. We also poured a 1,200-square-foot addition for an entire new master suite area and a covered patio at the back of the home. The results were a large master bedroom with a large closet featuring custom cabinetry and a spacious master bathroom. Custom cabinets, a roomy pantry and a massive eight-by-seven-foot island with marble countertops now modernize the home. Our clients wanted a crisp, clean look with cabinetry that allowed everything to have its place. They even got the large laundry room they’d wanted.
